Desert Star Construction was founded in 1998 by Michael Torres — a craftsman who believed that a home should feel like a personal resort, a sanctuary perfectly attuned to its owner's life. Starting with a single crew in Scottsdale, Michael built a reputation for uncompromising quality and intimate client relationships.
Today, our team of architects, designers, and master builders has delivered over 180 exceptional homes across Arizona and beyond. Yet despite our growth, we have never lost the founding principle: every project deserves our full creative energy and meticulous care.
We are not a volume builder. We take on a select number of projects each year, allowing us to be genuinely present for each client through every phase of their journey.
